Bullsh’t baffles brains. What an apt way to describe how I fell for Karl's outlandish "I’m getting a big payment next week” stories. I remember him telling me, and anyone who would listen, get rich quick stories that ranged from rough diamond deals in Dubai, gold mine deals (lol), oil and gas deals, property deals, and even hemp deals. If any of these deals were real (unlikely), Karl didn’t use any of the proceeds to repay friends from whom he borrowed (stolen) money. The reality is that these deals were all fictional. Either Karl was pulling the con, or he was the one being conned and spreading the lie. Either way, Karl is a dishonest individual. He’s bad news.
